Hi, I am seeking a copy of a newspaper article that came out in a local paper probably within a week or two of Jan. 4, 1954. The article was on the disappearance of our cousin, Rex Allen Claussen, and had a photo of him in uniform. Rex went down in the Yellow Sea off Korea while on a Navy flying mission with 9 other men, and the plane was never recovered. He was a local boy from Virden, only child of Roy Claussen, and married to Marjorie Newman, also of that area. What paper would have covered Virden?
