I know very little of the Long line, but can fill in on the Smith or Clark line. W. Anna Smith, the third child of Jeremiah Moulton Smith and Purvania Clark was born ca. 1844, in Glasgow Junction, Barren County, Kentucky. She married Charles Long, October 6, 1874, in Macoupin County, Illinois. Reported children are Nettie P. Long, Purvania A. Long, born ca. 1877, twins John Long and Charles Jerry Long, born August or September, 1879. In 1880, Purvania Clark Smith is living with Charles and Anna in Brushy Mound, Macoupin County, Illinois and is identified as the Mother-in-law of Charles Long. Charles Long was born in England, ca. 1836, as were his parents. Nettie P. Long, the first child of W. Anna Smith and Charles Long was born ca. December 1876, in Macoupin County, Illinois, married William H. Ward, died July 8, 1951, at Carlinville, Macoupin County, Illinois and was buried at the Chesterfield Cemetery, aka Smith-Kirby Cemetery, Macoupin County, Illinois. William H. Ward was born 1874, in England, died in 1957, was buried at Chesterfield Cemetery, aka Smith-Kirby Cemetery, Macoupin County, Illinois. Charles Jerry Long, the second child of W. Anna Smith and Charles Long was born ca. August 1879, in Macoupin County, Illinois.
