The Macoupin County Genealogical Society will hold the August meeting Monday, August 21, at First United Baptist Church, 604 N. Franklin in Staunton. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Guest speaker Dan Mathis will talk about his project on "Haunted Macoupin County". Our new membership year started June 1st. Dues are $15.00 for the current year and include the quarterly newsletter: Macoupin County Searcher. Membership is not required to attend meetings.
