    1. Obituaries for Mary A Northern & Edward W Northern/Nothern
    2. I am seeking the obituaries for these two people. Mary died 1 Oct 1930 & her son Edward died 25 April 1945. Both were living in Barr Township at the time of their deaths. They moved to Macoupin County from Brown County before 1880. Having spent so much time in Barr, 50 and 65 plus years, I am hoping there might be a good write up on them. 1. Re: [ILMacoupin] Cemetery Inscriptions, Ch...
    2. Debbi Geer
    3. The best way is probably search the family through the census and see when and where their children were born. When searching remember to look for not only Oklahoma but Indian Territory in the federal census. There is a listing for both in 1900 whereas only OK in 1910. Some people used OK for the birthplace even though it should have been Indian Territory. OK did not become a state until late (I think Dec) of 1907. So that should help in trying to figure out what the true state of the territory/state was. Debbi Geer __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! They take search requests over the phone, typically cost 10 or 25 cents a copy depending on the library (usually also a dollar minimum charge). 3. The original 266A and 266B do not have towns on them, just Macoupin County. They do have the names as Littleton transcribed them. In skimming a few, I noticed 180 thru 207 do not have towns on them; 208 and 209 have Scottville on them; starting 210 only have Macoupin co on them. That is all I skimmed but looked like many pages only had Macoupin county on them.
