Another Problem: George COPPENBARGER m/ Nancy HENDERSON Macon County 11-12-1829 Nancy b. 1-31-1817 in Kentucky d. 1869 DeWitt Co.,IL buried Copp./Hays Cemetery Who is Nancy?????? DeWitt County History says that she is the daughter of John/Jack HENDERSON who helped John Coppenbarger build the first Grist mill in DeWitt. It says that this John was from Kentucky but not where or when, also says that John returned there about the time of the Civil War. We cannot find John/Jack on Census 1850. There are other early HENDERSON's that Nancy could be related to: Isaac HENDERSON b. 1819 Addie HENDERSON Stewart HENDERSON Is anyone researching these HENDERSON's I would love to learn more about them.
