Looking for information on or connections withon my Great Grandparents Gustav BAIER and Margaret GAULER. Gustav was born 15 May 1873 in Effingham, IL. Married Margaret Gauler 11 Sept. 1894 in Decatur, Macon Co., IL. Gustav can be found in the Decatur City Directory in 1896-97 and 99. Gustav was a coal miner and do to his deteriorating health the family left Illinois for Kansas around 1900. Margaret left Germany in 1893 to settle in the United States. She supposedly immigrated with a sister who I have not been able to find any information on. Her sister may have used the surname BROWN. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
