Supposely he lived in Macon Co. At least from what I have been able to figure out he was there in the late 1800's. Can't remember where I got the information. But now I am being told that he was related to James Patrick McLaughlin of Macon, Macon Co. Illionis. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Planning to coming to Illionis again next summer. This summer is just to full. We were there last summer and enjoyed meeting relatives. They didn't know to much about the family. Figure if I can find information on this gentileman, I might get a lead on the McLaughin's. There are so many of them it is like looking for a needle in a haystack to find the right branch.
