Just a suggestion for Look-Up requests. PLEASE REMEMBER WHO, WHAT, WHEN ,WHERE, PLEASE & THANK YOU! Please don't just say send me your (example) JONES information, or what do you have for JONES in the 1850 Census(what Christian name, aprox. birth date, state, county etc.). Many of us do free look-ups for many states & counties. When your request comes to our mailbox, your E-MAIL address comes and the subject that you type into it. We don't know WHO, WHAT, WHEN & WHERE unless you tell us. Be specific a name, aprox. date, locality, if you want census, cemetery, birth, death record etc. Most of us get many requests from many places each day and it does take time to keep asking questions back & forth about the requests. Volunteers enjoy helping, but PLEASE make requests as clear as possible. I want to thank all volunteers who have helped me past, present & future.
