Susan, I just posted a message to the list that I found W. Baynham in San Francisco, California of all places. Thanks for your idea to look in the Ill. Statewide Death Index....when I did not find Baynham there, it got me to thinking and checking other state death indexes and luckily California was the 2nd one I checked.
