I'm not quite sure how to answer that question, Bennett was her maiden name, Ray was her married name, her husband might have been related to them, but I have not found her marriage record to know anything about him. In the 1900 census it states she was divorced. She came from Indiana, and she was the only member of the family to move to Illinois, so thinking her husband was also in Indiana then they moved to Illinois, but not sure since I can't find a marriage record yet.
