Would anyone happen to have a marriage date for Francis (or Fanny) A. Bennison Wallace who married a Samuel Little sometime between 1826 and 1847? I have looked in the IL State Marriages and the Macon County Marriage Records book (1829-1850) from the Genealogy Society, with no success. Francis A. Bennison was born about Oct 1771 in SC. She married James Wallace about 1803 or 1804 in SC. They came to Sangamon Co. and settled near Auburn. James died there in 1826. She went to Macon County in the 1830's, probably Long Creek, with some of her children. Her children were John, William, Rose Ann or Rosanna, Sarah, Elizabeth, twins Isaac and Melinda, James B. Samuel and Nancy. Some of them settled permanently in Macon County, but Samuel died in Shelby County at Tower Hill. At some time between James Wallace's death and her own she married a Samuel Little. Does anyone know the date and place of this marriage, or can suggest where I might look, I would love it.
