Anne Catherine (SUMMERS) BLACK SNELL was a neice of my 2nd great-grandfather Jacob William HIMES. Anne Catherine (SUMMERS) mother Nancy (HIMES) SUMMERS was a sister of my 2nd great-grandfather Jacob William HIMES. Anne Catherine (SUMMERS) father was Adam SUMMERS. Anne Catherine's parents Adam & Nancy both died early. Anne came to Shelby Co, Illinois with her uncle Jacob William HIMES & aunt Sarah Lavina (MOSE).
