I hope that someone out there can help with the following: Can anyone check marriages from DeWitt circa 1870-1880? I am looking for a marriage between Elizabeth Coppenbarger Davis to ???? Bixby the catch being we are not sure that she used the name Davis, there could have been another marriage in there. Does anyone have any Bixby marriages??? Izora SIMPSON was born near Decatur in Macon Co. in 1856. Her death cert. names her parents as Reed SIMPSON and Lovica BUTLER. She had 2 sisters, Cora SIMPSON WORTHINGTON, Mary SIMPSON BROWNING, and a couple of brothers maybe a John. As a small child she moved with her family to Dade Co. Mo, then later to Allen Co. Ks. The Wilson's that I am researching is Samuel and Sara Boyd Wilson. They ended up settling in St Charles Minnesota. At least that is where they are buried. My grandmother Sadie Wilson Rosebrock was born in Minneapolis and she was one of their children. I will write more when I get back on Monday.
