I asked for the FIRST ancestor in any line to arrive in Logan County, husband and wife. I am definitely becoming sorry I opened this can of worms... There should only be ONE of each surname [except for common names] unless there were two SEPARATE lines of that surname who were the ORIGINAL ancestor to arrive in Logan County. I know that happens -- I have two totally unrelated Downing lines who came to Logan County [and 50 years of someone else's research has not found a connection]. I also have Clark siblings who came without their parents, two brothers. [I only listed one but I haven't read all my mail yet - no doubt Alberta will list the other.] Can we start over on this? Think about it. We aren't trying to list every ancestor, just than we are researching the, say, Hardings, who came to Logan County.
