Hello -- I am new to this list. My earliest Logan County ancestor is Charles HARPER, who was said to be a full-blooded Choctaw Indian, born in Mississippi around 1770. He moved to Kentucky where his children were born, and then to Logan County around 1828. Actually Logan County was not yet established at that point; I believe Charles was one of the early settlers in the Lake Fork district. I don't know Charles wife's name but they apparently had quite a number of children. I have documentation for the following: Baldwin HARPER m.
