Good morning ~ found your post this a.m. and couldn't resist the temptation to ask about your HUSTON family! I'm "stuck" at William HUSTON/HEUSTON, father of Jerome DeWitt (my ggrandfather), Theodore and Ebenezer. William was born abt 1819 - Jerome thought he was b. Indiana, perhaps IL. William may have been married earlier than to the marriage we do know of, which was to Almira/Elmyra Hatch BARBER, mother of ?Hartselle Barber at the time of her marriage to William. In 1860 the family was listed in the Atlanta Precinct, Logan County, IL census; in 1870 they were in Pleasant Grove, Greenwood County, KS. I'm trying and trying to find parent/sibling info on William. Hoping someone sounds familiar to you! Thanks for your time. Sherre BARBER, BELL,CARTER, CHAMBERLAIN, COWGILL, COWDEN, DRESSER, HEUSTON/HOUSTON/HUSTON, HILL, HOFFMAN, NIDA/Y, LINNEY, SIDWELL, THARP, TURPIN, WALKER, among others!
