    3. CC's: Can you please post on County page? Thanks! Mary Ann PHELAN REUNION The 2nd Annual Midwest PHELAN Reunion will be held Saturday August 7, 1999. Potluck at 12:00 at Anderson West Pavilion, Anderson Park, Normal, IL (located next to pool facility). More details later. Any PHELAN descendants are welcome to attend. Last year's reunion produced people from Ontario, TX, MO and lots from IL. Michael PHELAN (1835-1906) came to the Sangamon and Macon County area soon after 1880 from Ontario, Canada, having been born in County Tipperary Ireland. He first settled near Lanesville, Sangamon County, working as a hired hand for George Pasfield. He later moved just north of Niantic, Macon County, where he still worked for Mr. Pasfield. Phelan Two of these sons, James and Augustus settled in Lincoln, Logan County, IL and are buried in the Holy Cross/St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln. Michael and Catherine are both buried in Calvary Cemetery, Illiopols, Sangamon Co.
