The main problem is copyright. If those obits are 75 years old it isn't a problem -- it would be much better if you knew the paper for reference in case, for example, someone wants to look it up. Please read the information on the obit page and submit yours according to those instructions. If the obits are less than 75 years old we need to discuss some details. Some newspapers really don't care about publishing obits and others do. A modern paid obit is fair game.
