Happy Thanksgiving to you all..... I had ordered copies of naturalization papers for 2 of my g.grandparents this spring and when they were sent, it was a copy of the whole page with several others on there too( not related). Last night while 'cleaning house' I came across one of Daniel Stewart, declaring his intent in 1868, Logan Co. from Scotland. Anyone have him in their line. Have no idea where in Logan Co. My main lines are in Springfield, Sangamon Co. area and they are the Cumming family who came to USA in 1852. David Cumming m. Helen Stewart in 1844 in Newton Scotland and her father was DANIEL STEWART, but never connected him as coming over after his daughter and family - figured he probably was dead by then. But now I am wondering if it were possible he did immigrate - but can't figure out why to Logan Co. when the family was some 60 mi. away. Just a long shot, but whooooo knows. These were the 'others' I have (not mine) on the same pages: Max Vogelsang - Baden, Germany - 'intent' 1862 Andreas Armbrust - Bavaria - intent 1863 Charles Saup - Wurttenberg, Germany 'intent' 1868 E. Subbers - Prussia - intent 1876 If anyone wants these please contact me. Marilyn - Fla
