    2. I would guess the obituary would be in the Mt. Pulaski Times-News. The state of those files these days is unknown to me. Twenty five years ago they were not bad but the paper has changed hands a couple times since then. There should be a death certificate in the Logan County Clerk's office. One way you might be able to find out if the man is deceased is to check out the Social Security Death Index. It is available online in several places including http://www.ancestry.com If he died and someone filed for death benefits, often the funeral home to apply to the bill these days, he should be listed there.
