Joan: Thanks for replying. I found the answer to one of my questions. It was whether or not the marriage index was available on line. Missed the answer the first time, someone else found it for me. My next question is do you think the Illinois Marriage Index would be available at the State of Michigan Library? I am going there tomorrow and wonder how widely it is published, or if I would be able to get it thru inter-library loan from Springfield. Thanks Marge Farmer
