BTW, anyone who would like to have their own personal copy of the 1840 and 1850 census images on CD can purchase one from S-K for $20. Normally they only have one census year on the CD but because these these two are fairly small they put them together for us. I know the 1850 census is done but they haven't been put online yet. I suppose the folks responsible for that took off for the holiday like everyone else. <g> I'll let you know as soon as they tell me they are up.
