According to a family writeup in the 1982 History of Logan County, Logan David Edwards (1887-1966) came to Logan County from Kentucky in 1906. He first served as a farm hand near Middletown. In 1915 he married Mary Elizabeth Hall. They lived on a farm and he also worked as a coal miner for 19 years. In 1947, he purchased a farm between Mt. Pulaski and Elkhart. Two children are reported 1. Charlotte Virginia Edwards married Marshall Key 2. Eugene Hall Edwards married Rachel Zook.
