The 1878 History of Logan County is available from the Logan County G&H Society. There is a reprint company that will do the Stringer history. Actually that is two volumes. It is pricey. I am not familiar with >HISTORY OF LOGAN CO. IL (Inter-State pub. Co., Chicago, 1886) What is 125 Yesteryears? There was the Green book and maybe this is the paper Harry Wible put out? Never mind, I pulled out my copy. 125 Yesteryears of Mt. Pulaski is indeed Harry's souvenir edition of the Times News. I had no idea the name. It is interesting but I don't know if it is particularly useful. The Green book is another story. [officially: AND SHE HELD FORTH HER HAND by Emagene Veech Green -- always referred to as 'the Green book' for its green cover as well as Emagene's name]. You are allowed to ask this question. The rule is you can't sell anything on the list. I saw nothing about buying. I am going to suggest you check out the Sangamon County pages. There's a link on the Logan pages, neighboring counties, if you don't have the address. Go to the pages which link to books and check the listing where it says something like "I want them all" for the reprints of the Stringer histories.
