Hello everyone, I am new to this list and wonder if anybody has any information about the Logan County Poor Farm (in West Lincoln). I would especially like to know where the records are kept. I have called the county courthouse and was told by the clerk that all they had were the plans for the building and she had no idea of where the records are. Does anyone have a clue? I have an August SCHULTZ (or Shultz) who was living there in 1920. He was born about 1850. His wife Marie C. Burgdam (or Bouchton) died in 12-1917. I am especially interested in learning when August died and where he is buried. Did the poor farm have it's own burial ground? (He is not the August Shultz who died in 2-1923 and is buried with his wife Mary in Kline Cemetery - I already made that mistake!) August and Marie had 3 children: Johanna Friedericke (1873-1903). She married August KRUSEMARK. Albert Frederick (b1879) He married Florence C. Gross Herman (b 1881) He married ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Cindy, in Arizona
