It seems that no one else is researching the HEUSTON/HOUSTON/HUSTON lines in IL, or anywhere else, for that matter! My ggrandfather Jerome DeWitt HEUSTON was born 1863, Kickapoo Creek, Logan Co, IL. Believe that to be near Atlanta. One of his older brothers MAY have also been born in Logan County; that would have been either Theodore or Ebenizer. His father was William Heuston/Houston m. Almyra HATCH BARBER. Jerome believed his father was prob. born in IN; Almyra was born Greene County, OH and had a son from a previous marriage "P" (we think) Hartselle BARBER.
