I really don't know about mailing lists. Why don't you check it out? I would guess that mailing lists are just too numerous for her to list -- like the Logan web site, she is more for genealogy than individual surnames. However, there is a guy who maintains a list of genealogy lists. I don't remember his name but he definitely does the rootsweb lists.
