I just looked at the Carlyle, Clinton County listings for the Carlyle and St. Mary's cemeteries and didn't find any Turleys or Dowlings. Neither did I see any marriages for 1856-1873. If you are talking about this city, ask me again in about a month after I get an index made for my newly acquired listings. It is reported in the Johannes Michael Hoblit Family (1732-1870) by Hannah Foster Dowling but that means that after the death of husband James Turley she married her stepson Samuel. Samuel had a wife named Sarah who died July 13, 1859. Sarah Hoblit was dead [I hope] in 1848 when her estate was probated. Samuel and his wife Sarah are buried in Carlyle Cemetery according to Vallentine. I don't have the listing for that cemetery to check.
