I'm glad you like the 1840 census. Thanks to several members of this list the 1850 census will be available in a few weeks. Several members have expressed interest in contributing to th 1830 Sangamon County census [which would include most of what is now Logan]. If anyone is interested email me privately. The 1880 census transcription is available from the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society. The 1890 was destroyed. The 1860 and 1870 censuses could also be purchased but I haven't gotten an estimate. I would guess we are talking over $200 on each of those, perhaps considerably more. Cheri was going to help transcribe the census. Do you think we need that or are the online images enough?
