Hi Darlene, I don't have Downing in my index but the name sure is familiar to me. Do they have ties to the Deibert family? I wish I had lots of Logan County research material but at the time I wrote my book there wasn't that much available. I have quite a few pages of cemetery records from Logan County and my index has lots of Logan Co names. When I look it over I know what my Dad meant when he said we were related to every dog and cat that ran through the back yard.
