Good Morning Cheryl, The dogs and cats are from a book I put together on my family. This particular book (there are four others) is the folks connected to Logan Co. The folks mentioned are not necessarily from there but in some way relate to someone who is. I have included my line, in-laws lines, and sometimes their in-laws lines, plus names of neighbors and Civil War records, etc. I have been researching my family for over 26 years and just want to share my diggins with others. When I started out they didn't have computers, wish they had. My father grew up in Logan County and we used to go visit every year when I was a child so kind of grew attached and think of it lovingly. Oh, son of James and Mary Ann (Fierce) Coats. (James and Mary are parents of my G. Grandma Frances C. Coats) John d. 31 Mar 1917 Mt. Pulaski, IL. Both buried in Steenbergen Cem. Mt. Pulaski. Cornelius Lemunion transferred 53 acres of land named "Jane" to William Coplan on June 2, 1825.
