The 1878 Logan County history lists a Frank Gerard, carriage manufacturer, Clinton cor. Union St.; dem; from Missouri. That means he was a carriage manufacturer located at Clinton corner of Union St., that he was a democrat and that he came from Missouri. There is no further information on him or his business in this book. Note the spelling with one r. If someone has the 1886 history they might look for you -- I don't know that anyone does.
