I have recently subscribed to the Logan County list and would like to post my interests in the hopes of finding somebody else researching my Logan County kin. William HACKNEY, his wife Salley/Sarah, and several children came to Logan County from Virginia. William was a farmer and the first teacher at "Brush College". They are believed to have lived near Mt. Pulaski. He died in Logan County, death date and burial location unknown to me. Does anybody know anything about William or Sally? Their oldest son, Jacob Tivis, is my gr-gr-great grandfather. Thank you in advance for any assistance. I am always happy to share what info I have.
