    2. It was the 1886 History. I have inquired of the Society if they would consider a reprint since we have several folks who are interested just on this list. They have not responded. I sent a letter so they'd have something to discuss and they sent me the requested items in the letter so I know they got it. It isn't something I would expect an instant response on. I have the 1982 History. The one thing about it is that is it is contributed, rather like World Family Tree and similiar sources. There's no way to know if it is accurate. Certainly some parts were left out by some people, bad marriages and resulting children for example, as well as creating a more impressive lineage. This isn't confined to contributed histories. In the 1911 Stringer history I have found several errors. I ASSUME he asked for information and wrote what he got. If people forgot about something and failed to mention it he couldn't write it. But he left out several marriages which had children on some of my ancestors and I'm sure he didn't just single my ancestors out -- those are just the ones that would be obvious to me.
