In abt 1890 he married an unknown first wife. They had the following children: 2 Villa Williams, Born in Apr 1891, IL 3 Oscar Williams, Born in Aug 1893, IL On 27 Sep 1897 when William Harrison was 31, he second married Retta A. Howe, in , Christian Co., IL. Both of her parents were born in Illinois. Born on 3 Jan 1880 in IL. She died in IL on 25 Jan 1914; she was 34.They had the following children: 4 Pearl Gertrude Williams. Born on 28 Nov 1899 in Latham, Logan Co., Illinois. She married Wilhelm Frederick Erhardt Richner. She died in Decatur, Macon Co., Illinois on 20 Mar 1931; she was 31. Buried in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. 5 Jessie Williams. Born in Jan 1898, IL Both Retta Howe and her daughter Pearl Williams died very young. I have been tracking Thomas Denson Howe and Missouri Cathrine Jennings because of other family connections but no matches, yet. As you can see I don’t have parents or siblings for either great grandparent, William Harrison Williams or his wife Retta Howe. This next family may be a possibility as W. H. Williams' parents. The birth locations and William's age are correct. 1870 Census: These parents are a guess. Living in Leanna. Parents birth locations match William’s parents.
