If someone buys a CD the company donates a copy of the file to the USGenWeb Archives to be placed on the web for free public access. The cost of the CD is based on the number of page numbers. It was estimated that the cost of a CD of the 1850 Logan County census would be 200 pages or about $90. Presumably the later censuses, covering increased residents, cost more. I have already ordered the 1840 census which is the first Logan County census. Since that time I have been contacted by someone who is willing to share the cost of the 1850 census CD. If you would be interested in sharing the cost of this please email me and I'll see if something can be worked out. Several contributors would be needed.
