    3. Dear List / Cheryl <sniped> >They search county histories, cemetery inscriptions, indexes of marriage >records and indexes of census records. The first two you can probably get >someone on this list to search for you if you ask nicely. Does any one know if the LDS/FHC's have copies of indexes of marriage for Illinois? Know the Film #'s? The center in my area is open only one night a week and working as I do I often can not get there (even had films go back before I could view them). So anyway, asking as nicely as I can, should any one have ready access to marriage index and willing to do a "look-up", here is who I am looking for: Clement L., age 17, b.Sept. 1864 Effie J., age 5, b. 30 Oct. 1876 In 1882 my maternal gg-grandfather (Daniel Morris) died leaving three children orphaned. William O. Morris, age 8, b. 23 Jan. 1874 is my g-grandfather and we have some information reguarding him. The three, had an L.N. Morris appointed guardian March 30th 1882. I think "L.N." was Lester Morris living in Orvil twp. and I believe that he a brother of Daniel. Anyway, Clement L. and Effie J. is who I am trying to trace, and we have no clue! Of course there is no 1890 Census and I have not been able to locate them on any of the following Censuss. My thought is that perhaps a lead maybe obtained via a marriage index... Or perhaps someone has another idea as how to trace these two. All information would be appreciated. Regards Ron
