I have been looking at your info, and the map sure looks like this is the correct origin for the German families that came to Laenna and Mt. Pulaski areas of Logan County in the late 1840s. I suspect there are additional families that came to Springfield, including Hanselmann and Volle. Do you happen to have the first names that go with the family name list you sent? I have been trying to figure out if Erhard and Mary Agnes are related to two other Stoll-Rentschler couples, George and Mathias. Also, I have a George and a Matthew Rentschler that may be linked in somehow.
