Hello List members, I have had great success locating family members Logan County portion of the 1870 Federal Census even though I don't have access to an index. I mention that because having done it, it's worth recommending to others. I did know there approximate locations from the 1880 Census and then branched out from there. I have been unable to locate 2 surnames prior to the 1880 Census. One of the groups were supposed to have immigrated around 1852 or 1854. Can anyone list the questions that were asked or the information that might appear on the State of Illinois Census of 1865. I'm trying to decide if it would be worth my while to get this census.
