Do you think I've been a bit discombobulated lately? Several folks have commented on it. :-> I have been named Central Illinois Regional Coordinator for the ILGenWeb Project. This means I have to keep my eye on 20 counties, mostly to help out if needed. If they don't have a County Coordinator [my title for Logan County] I have to be it. If they aren't managing their mailing lists I have to do it. When all the dust settles -- and we are getting to that point -- I don't think it will be a major task but getting settled in has taken some time. That is why you have seen messages to Logan plus counties you may have never heard of -- I'm not nuts so I don't send the message to each one separately. It also means that I surf to these other counties regularly and sometimes find goodies which I bring back to the Logan page. Logan benefits from this of course. I let them take things from the Logan page too. Genealogy is the main beneficiary of all this. For my own purposes, to speed my surfing to the various counties I need to think about, I made a web page with links to those counties [and a few other links].
