I called the IL State Archives about Naturalization records. They directed me to call Logan County Clerk. I called the Logan County Clerk and she directed me to call the Logan County Circuit Clerk (217-735-2376). I spoke to Mary and she was very helpful. I told her what I was looking for, and she told me I should send my request in writing to the attention of Brenda. Before letting me go, Mary looked in her card index for my family surname to make sure there for me to request. Now I not only know were to request naturalization records, I also know there is something there for me to request.
