    3. There was a John Milton Tomlinson, b 1838, d. 1902, but he lived in Laenna Township. Jerusha is one of those odd names, also spelled Geruisa. I'd certainly use that name to search on. If you found them on census records where in the county did the Lawrences live? There is a Lawrence Cemetery. http://www.rootsweb.com/~illogan/Lawrence.htm Are those Lawrences connected? 3. Cheryl, The farm house on Lawrence curve is where they lived. Charles S Lawrence was my ggrandmas uncle. I am not sure where John T. and Fannie Lawrence lived. After John and Charles dad passed away around 1864 they inherited the farm which was around 2000 acres. John may have had a farm off of 5th st in Lincoln. I know John Theobald and Fannie Lawrence Theobald had a farm they inherited there and lost it in the depression. They may have inherited it after John T Lawrence Passed away. Fannie Lawrence Theobald was the daughter of Fannie Lawrence. I know the farm is still in family hands. Which is amazing considering the house was built in the early 1840's by Theodore Lawrence. The John Theobald that was married to Jerusha lived in Lake Fork after they married. He was born in Germany in 1825, came to the US in 1827(according to the 1910 census) He was married to Martha Barr Theobald before Jerusha. I believe John and Martha lived in Middletown for a while and then New Holland. Richmond Grove is where Martha is buried. John may be buried in Carlyle Cemetery with Jerusha. No one ever put a death date on the tombstone. John Tomlinson came from Ohio as did John Theobald around 1870. He was in the Union Army in Ohio. He has a veteran headstone in Richmond Grove Cemetery. I think there may be family still in the New Holland, Lincoln area. There is a Uriah Tomlinson that may be a son buried there close to John Tomlinson. There were flowers of the same kind by both of their headstones this summer. I was kind of hoping maybe they were on the list here also and they could fill in some holes for me. Thank you for the tip on the alternate spelling of Jerusha's name. I did not know that and will try. I know that the Theobald name has also been spelled Tevault. Thank you again.
