Dear Cheryl & other readers: I would like to know whether any old photos exist of Laufrey/Laughfry school and it's students, just 1 mile north of Mt. Pulaski on rt. 121 on the East side of the road (the old brick school still exists as a residence). I attended first grade there in 1946, and of course, had Mr. Lukenbill as county superintendant of schools. Some of the classmates I remember were Hugh Bowman and Dolly Bowman who were in the first grade with me. I think that Larry Wilham (George's boy) was the only 2nd grader. Others that I remember were Harry Damerin, Bill & "Donk" McCain, and I had met their little brother, Jimmy McCain (Father, Lee McCain). I think there were also kids named Meister in the school. The teacher's name was Delka Dean. John Wilham
