HI, My Morris and related families came from Ross, Clark and Madison Co's., OH in the mid to late 1850's, some by wagon, some by train, to DeWitt and Logan Co's., IL. The first train came through Logan and DeWitt counties in 1854. There seem to have been many families from Logan Co., OH [Bellefontaine] who moved on to DeWitt Co, but that was after the Civil War.
