Hello the list! I am still looking for sources, recollections and descendants of George F. BENNETT and his wife, Orpha A. MARSH. George was born in Vermont in 1836, was in Ohio in the 1860 and 1870 censuses, but was a miller at Atlanta, Logan Co., in 1880. He was living in 1910 in Lawrence, KS, with a son, Frederick M. Bennett, a Unitarian clergyman. George died later that year; his wife had died in 1904. Since they had lived in Atlanta, I'm wondering if they and family members might have been buried in Atlanta. Other children in the family were Arthur, Nellie, Alfred, Orpha, Austin, Georgiana and Martha. Frederick and Georgiana were University of Illinois graduates, and Georgiana became a school teacher in Chicago. Martha married John O. Miller and lived in New Mexico and California.
