On Saturday, March 19, we will be hosting an Open House/Research Day from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. at the Sangamon County Genealogical Society Office, 2856 South 11th St., Springfield. Stop by and take a chance at the Spring into Research Basket raffle. Our publications will also be available for sale throughout the day free of shipping fees to those in attendance, you can peruse our treasure trove of research materials and join in the lively conversations about genealogy in Sangamon County. Included among the many resources available on Saturday will be the security copies of birth, marriage and death record microfilm for Sangamon County.
