    3. Ok, one more thing... With the SSDI search you can attach a Post-em to the files. I didn't know what that was so I looked it up -- it wasn't easy to find [but then not everyone files the way I do] so I'm sharing it. Basically it is a way to add information about the deceased to the record on Rootsweb's SSDI. WHAT IS A POST-EM? A Post-em gives you the ability to add related information or links to an entry in the SSDI - or to see information added by others. Below is a good example of a Post-Em added to the file of Dorris Yancey. If you were looking at the actual Post-Em you would also see who submitted this note to the file, their email address, and when it was posted.
