Ancestry owns Rootsweb, all of it. It has been maintaining Rootsweb separately and free but it also promised the family trees we uploaded would be free. I don't know if the World Connect trees are covered...this time...or not. I'm getting those Social Security Death Index searches I've been putting off done now too. Who knows how long that will be free.
