The solution is to join the Tazewell County G&H which has Heritage Quest available to members. There are other places -- a research library in Connecticut is commonly cited and I am sure they make plenty from people who join only to get Heritage Quest. I support giving your money to more local organizations who might help you if you are looking for a reasonable inexpensive way to get Heritage Quest -- that would be Tazewell County G&H for the $15 membership fee plus $12 for Heritage Quest. http://www.tcghs.org/ I get it free through my library [but I'm moving] and through the NYGBS which would be a pretty expensive method [$60 annually] if I weren't doing some research there at the moment.
