I thought there was already a search engine for the Trees? Why should one pay to use a search engine when they can use a free one or does that mean they are doing away with the free one? I, for one, do not agree with charging for a search engine, so I pulled my trees I had online. My stuff is free and I do not like someone having to pay to see it even if its only through a search engine. It could have been found without paying for searching. I am an Ancestry subscriber but will be rethinking about renewing. I do love the Census subscription if they ever get it all indexed. I can access the census through my library for free online with Heritage Quest. They have that deal with public libraries throughout the country check into it. I just log on to my library's website go under genealogy and use my library card and number to get onto Heritage quest which is a pay service most of the time except through libraries.
